The history of Villa Maria dates back to 1950, when the Conserva family began their journey thanks to the initiative and vision of Maria and Cenzino. In Crispiano, the Ideal Bar was founded a pastry shop that soon became a local landmark, not only for the quality of its offerings but also for the care and passion devoted to organizing weddings and off-site receptions.
From the very beginning, hospitality went beyond the kitchen: Maria and Cenzino personally oversaw every detail of each event, from flavors to setup, providing the equipment and services needed to ensure the perfect success of every banquet. It marked the start of a path defined by dedication, hard work, and a genuine love for welcoming guests.
In 1970, work began on the transformation of Villa Maria, which over the years would become one of the most renowned reception venues in the province of Taranto, surrounded by a large garden and enhanced by an outdoor swimming pool.
Over time, significant renovation projects followed: the opening of the hotel in 1996 alongside an expansion of the reception hall, the creation of the Vincent Hall, and the transformation of the outdoor spaces in the early 2000s, leading up to 2025 with the conversion of the Mary Hall into eight additional guest rooms. Today, Villa Maria stands as the authentic expression of the passion and values of a family that, for two generations, has welcomed its guests with courtesy, professionalism, and genuine care.
